    Fireworks or Photoshop

    I have Adobe Photoshop 7 now, but I have been using Dreamweaver alot lately and was just curious if you designer types liked Photoshop or Fireworks better.

      PS man ... photoshop is tha shizzle ... illustrator is good too (corel draw too) for drawing

          You use fireworks for navigations etc. but not for regular designs.

              Yeah I am not a designer by any means so I was just looking at what might be good for simple stuff. I already have Photoshop just wasn't sure if there were any advantages over Photoshop / Image Ready. I am a programmer that winds up doing little graphics things to fit what i need

                  Hmmph. Fireworks is all I use. I hate Photoshop. Too damn complicated. - but, then, I'm not a designer.

                      I have both but use Photoshop much more regularly.
                      Sig is on vacation... (I wish I could vacation as long as my sig has...)

                                      I use photoshop, works great you can make anything you want with it, just get to know the tools very good and mix the shit:D

                                                  Photoshop is my fav by far but basically because i have been using it for so many years,

                                                  but one that that Fireworks stands out with is the actions you are able to write, also the batch processing is easier because u can write action onto them.

                                                          The long arm of photoshop always goes further than the other main programs, been using it for 6 years daily, cerified, and still I learn extended capabilites on a daily basis
