Do you ever listen to classical music while working?

I have a little Wagner playing right now. Try it...you might like it.

I often listen to classical stuff when working but I think Wagner would get me a little too fired up and ready to conquer some shit. I tend to listen to mellower "book store" kind of stuff that doesn't distract me.

Studies have proven that classical music is more beneficial to creativity and memory than any other category of music. It's called the Mozart effect.

I am listening to Die Walküre right now. Beethoven and Grieg would be my favorites, though.

I used to listen to Le Quattro Stagioni while coding back in the day, but I'd find myself relaxing into a stupor by the time I got to autumn.

Nowadays I find some ambient webcast and groove to that... same altered state of consciousness without the debiliating mellow.
