Bush: "Terror war can't be won"

Washington - United States President George Bush acknowledged on Monday that he didn't think the war on terror could be won, but said it would make it less acceptable for groups to use terrorism as a tool.

Early on Monday, NBC-TV's Today programme was broadcasting an interview with Bush that included a discussion of his goals for a second administration.

Bush, who has said he expects the war on terror to be a long, drawn-out battle, was asked by interviewer Matt Lauer, "Can we win it?"

"I don't think you can win it," Bush replied, according to excerpts NBC provided in advance.

Bush's biggest problem is that he speaks his mind. I'm looking forward to voting this porn hating bible nazi and his cabinet out of office with the quickness.

Because he already made his money, and lots for his friends, and he knows his ass is done and will be out of office soon.

At this point he is probably working with his terrorist buddies on next year's catastrophe.

Stunning stupidity. Let me guess, you think Bush was behind 9/11.

This man whom everyone seems to think was stupid. He managed to gather enough people aboslutely loyal to him to cover the whole thing up. Not easy to do considering how well people keep secrets.

Bill Clinton couldn't get away with an affair in the Oval Office but George Bush has been able to cover a massive consipiracy involving the slaughter of many Americans. Clever man that Bush.

Wait a minute, what was the REST?

----

"I don't think you can win IT. All you can do is control the condition..... "

I can't remember what is after, but it would appear the whole conversation is yet to meet this thread.... He had said, like I said -- I don't remember the exact quotes but this is what the message was: We can't win IT, but we can control the acts...

Basically it's like this racism shit still in America that is widespread.

We can't stop RACISM, but we can stop the acts. Some people will still be racist, but we can stop the violent acts that are caused by it....

Hey Jackass, here is what he said.

I don't think you can win it," the president said, when asked if the war on terrorism can be won. "But I think you can create conditions so that those who use terror as a tool are less acceptable in parts of the world."

"I have a two-pronged strategy," he said. "On the one hand is to find them before they hurt us. ... The long-term strategy is to spread freedom and liberty."

He added later, ?You cannot show weakness in this world today because the enemy will exploit that weakness. It will embolden them and make the world a more dangerous place.?
