And I'll feel ZERO remorse and that's a fact.
Some of you people act like your still in the 2nd grade. Were in the hell do you get off trying to do something like that.

Want if it's someone computer at work and they do not know how to change it back, are

kloofyboy,

As you can see it probably isnt a great idea to risk using this tactic.. Your peers tend to get pretty ticked about it, and it is not really worth loosing your trades and such over it. Im not gunna lecture you about it and bitch about how it hurts the industry, cause its your choice, but If you choose to do this, best not publically announce it.

And yes, I look down upon it, and dont trade with or list sites that use this, nor do I trade with sites that have links to other sites that do this..

But Im not gunna start getting rilled up over it and slander ya like im sure many people will want to do.. Instead I do what many others SHOULD do, and jsut have nothing to do with em, and work with sites that also have nothing to do with them.

Alright... I was trying to be polite and send him off somewhere else...

Kloofy... Go F*ck Yourself... I'm with them. You change my page and I will personally hunt you down. Never mind that some of the hackers we know would sit on your site/s like buzzards on a roost.

Sorry RedShoe! I was in a good mood.

Changing peoples start page is a NO-NO!

It might seem like a good way to make short term money, but in the long run, you will only be fucking yourself. If you get caught, you will be blacklisted from every site out there.

I would seriously reconsider it.

Guyz,

I didn't know that just inquiring about this tool would provoke such an uproar. I saw some posts about this tactic at an earlier thread so I inquired about it's source.

Either way, I am glad that people presented the industry view of this particular tactic.
I just wish people did not have to take it so personally... I was just inquiring.

Your points are well taken, even the ones posed as insults. I won't do this.

I just do hope you guys ban the azzholes that do... I recently visited some galleries and lo and behold my start page was changed ...not to a porn site but some simple search page probably set up by a porn gallery owner.

Once again, thanks for the answers and please, let's be civil!

Kloof

Possible Solutions to the problem as a whole:

Code a small spider bot that can be used along with tgp submission pages/traffic trades that search's each submission for this code.

Then have the spider bot send a report of offending urls submitted to a blacklist site.

Anti-Spammers have open directory's of blacklisted ip's & mail servers.

Maybe its time for the adult webmasters to work together on a black-list directory for this particular issue, since its such a big concern.

I for one would host such a database, any other takers?

You got my vote. I support that. I agree -- changing people's home page without their consent is a form of spamming.

I will support any initiative to crack down on that practice.
