Figure out how many U.S people participated.. then how many in any other country. I believe the U.S had the most entries.. I may be wrong but if you want to do it fairly, don't take the population but the participents... google isnt working for me atm so I cant figure it out :mad:

Countries like the US, China, and Russia win a lot of medals because they have large populations from which to draw athletes from.

Population does matter because you have a larger pool of professional athletes to choose from and subsequently a larger more diverse group of events to participate in.

However, this does not guarantee a good performance and medals.

One thing is for certain. India fucking sucks. 1 medal out of 1 billion people. Must be a shit hole there if they can't find any money to train the athletes.

Yes but hiring professional coaches and having the best training facilities cost huge amounts of money.It makes a huge differance on the athletes produced.
