Those experienced with adwords, question...
I'm a beginner with adwords and other similar services. I need a few questions cleared as I don't know what I'm doing. (this is for mainstream btw)
I have 4 adgroups and totally they have just 40 keywords. I was told I need to have as many as possible, but I also want to keep the traffic as targeted as possible, so the more you add keywords - it seems as though the less targeted it might become.. And with a $200 p/day budget set, I'm only getting like fucking 30 uniques per day. I just rose the daily budget to $1,500 and I'm not sure if that'll help or not. Will this work in driving more clicks or not? Or do I have to raise my cost per click? Or do I need to construct better ads? Or do I need to specify more keywords? I'm sure all plays a significant role, but what would you recommend? thanks. |

Depends of what keywords do you use. Some keywords doesnt require pre-approval from Google staff, so any changes that you apply to those ads will take effect instantly, as AdWords is almost completely automated system. Some other keywords might need to be reviewed by Google before ads could run, so it could take up to 24 hours to get them approved...

Also, the raise of your daily budget obviously wont affect the amount of click you'll get. Raising the cost per click off course will do it, but also make sure you have created enough ads in one ad group that CONTAIN the keyword terms that are going to trigger those ads. As far as I understood from AdWords FAQs, if your ad text is more relevant to the query, it can be displayed on a higher position even with the lower cost per click set in campaign...
