    about epassporte....

so i was paying all of my online bills with epassporte this month and ordering a few gifts for friends and what not and this is what i observed...

amazon.com - accepts epassporte virtual cards
jupiterhosting.com - does not(they use quickbooks merchant services it appears) accept epassporte cards
directnic.com - does accept virtual visa cards issued by epassporte.
namecheap.com - does not accept epassporte cards.

i got an error from one of the sites that declined it stating something about inability to verify account info with foreign banks. i am assuming that is because it is issued from curacao?

can anyone else add to this list of sites that do and do not accept epassporte virtual visas?

I've paid for about 100 domains with my epassporte virtual card at Namecheap... unless something has changed very recently?

Namecheap does indeed take ePassporte. However their fraud scrubbing is geared in a manner that does cause them to reject certain transactions, I won't go into detail but it's go to do with your address, your ip and your card being international.

Anyone relying on AVS and ip with a pre-disposition to decline nonUS card transactions without using CVV2 as the deciding factor will from time to time decline cards.

This happens all the time with cards and processing. It pretty much sucks since in a lot of cases where this happens we talk to the merchants and they ease up on our BIN, but not everyone does.

No problem with Namecheap here either.

Where IBill, CCBill and 2checkout is processing are the only places where I have been declined.

No, you can't and you won't be honestly. We decline the transactions on our side for fraud control reasons.
