America is so slow in understanding the damage burnt fuel does to the atmosphere - Europe has high prices of fuel in order to preserve life for our future generations - Americans only think about themselves and about today. gas prices in Germany in 1965 was $ 2.50 plus in Taxas at that time it was $ 0.25.
gas prices are high in Europe because of one reason TAX's was in the 1960's and is now.

I have to admit I never even look at the price per gallon when filling up, I don't pay attention to how much it costs, because it's something I have to get whether it's expensive or cheap anyways, so it doesn't matter if it's expensive, I have to buy it anyways, so I don't stress myself out by looking at the price!
