Just an FYI, we do use cascading billing.. I know it didn't help your sales any but it can be a reason why others were doing fine

gsimm33 08-28-2004 12:12 PM

I have no doubt the epoch team will get it back as soon as humanly possible...they have more skin in the game than any one of us.

Wish you the best, Chris.

If you are in the USA, call 888 627 3888, at the prompt enter 320 to reach Tech Support. If you are outside the USA call + 1 310 827 5880, then enter 320 at the prompt.

As for those of you that think you are immune to this type of attack and are kicking us when we are down (no pun intended), I can only hope that you do not have to go through this problem with your clients and friends adding fuel to the fire instead of helping us put it out.

A little industry support would be a good thing every once in a while ? especially now. Please remember that we do not make money while this is happening either and we can?t just ?switch? when there is a problem. When your sites go down or links are broken we let you know, with the intention of helping.

I didn't mean anything by saying you might be sleeping in. Just a joke really. We all get a little weird when sales disappear

LA isn't right on the water, it's like a 20 minute drive from the water

WarChild 08-28-2004 12:54 PM

Good thing I saw this thread.

My stats for the last two days look like shit. Good luck Epoch, I know you guys will get passed this shit. See you in Vegas, as always boys.

Lensman 08-28-2004 01:02 PM

Looking at those Curacao flights, damn it's hard to get to NorCal without spending the night on the road.

Sexy Rex 08-28-2004 01:09 PM

All the best Chris. I'm sure they picked the wrong company to fuck with this time.

fris 08-28-2004 01:18 PM

from all the datacenters i have worked at when we have experienced a DOS attack, best thing to do is NULL route the ip.

will stop let it go, then they will usally give up.

good luck chris

OY 08-28-2004 01:28 PM

RP Fade 08-28-2004 01:49 PM

Hopefully SP2 will cut down the trojans and stuff that these idiots use to carry out these attacks.

I am still unable to connect so everything is not completely up yet I guess.
I start received timeouts on a traceroute after:
sl-firstcomm-1-0-0.sprintlink.net [144.232.216.2]

I've lost a lot of money too

I realise this post was a while ago, but I was on vacation.

PornMegaBucks allows you to choose, from all the processors we have on board, which ones you would like to use.

We also allow you to choose the order in which your surfers see the various processors. You can choose to use some, or all, of the ones we offer, and then prioritise them to suit yourself. :)
