I know the feeling. My father passed away when I was 16 and in highschool. It was really hard. But the worst part was several weeks later. I was in class and aced a test that everyone else failed. I remember thinking, that I could not wait to tell my father. Then was when it really hit me that he was gone.

Best advice I can think to say for this time period is to take care of the things still related to her first and yourself second.

I wish there were words to comfort you but there isn't anything that can be said that can take away your pain. Take one day at a time...cry if you feel like crying....holding it back only makes it worse in the end. It's strange how people seem to be dying younger and younger these days. Looking in the obituaries in the newspaper, I see people all the time that only lived to 50-65, I think that's too young to die. Heck, I'm already 30, so half of my life could be over already.
