could you just append an "s" to overture's results in the script before they are checked for availability? I know that I for sure wouldn't care if an "s" was appended universally even to domains where it didn't work - eg : "successs" or probably better - as an option like hyhens. The lack of plurals in overture is probably it's most glaring fault.. shouldn't be that hard to work around? Also would it be possible to do a multilevel search off the main result? ie a secondary level search where each of the primary results get their own overture search?

checking the hyphen box should check for hyphenated AND nonhyphenated domains.
Also the overture search results should be displayed alongside the domain.

bhutocracy...you got some great ideas...but throwing an "s" on every term would make for too many whois calls. Same with the multilevel search....I'm afraid it would just get out of hand and jim at techiemedia would tell me to shut it down ;-)

as for the unlimited version...yes, yes...it is the ultra-expensive script but I took the limit off for today and maybe for the next few days just so everyone can have fun with it

two Overture STS Tool pages open to check overture # results and children variations of main query list in far right. Your page + notepad to save results. registrar and wordtracker minimised but used often.

An extended query service to combine these functions would be great. An elongated service perhaps taking 30 minutes that checked all TLD availability, merged, hyphenated, pluralised and all related search terms from parent query and expanded children results with overture #'s returned either as an email or protected area for a paypal or similar fee. Juxtaposition with wordtracker or similar's results would be ideal though likely impossible.

trial enom reselling @ $9.95 per domain. (can't guarantee better than ads by google though) depends on traffic savvy.

link to SEO affilaite programs such as (now defunct?) seguru.net

contextually return sponsors based on search query - a search of "anal" returns links besides domain results to 5 anal sponsors you are a second tier affiliate of to combine your script into a domain search and domain revenue tool.

mark domains expiring soon with a tombstone or similar that links to pool.com or similar's affilaite program to catch drops.

He's capped it to five for some reason.. it started off at 20 then unlimited (was friday night here - missed it) but now maybe concerned with his hosting he's over-capped it.

If you screw with your cache settings you may set it straight. Your problem was probably that when the posting failed and you pressed back, the post page loaded over again rather than going on memory. It happened to me from time to time when I used IE.

thanks.. I'll give it a try. Though it definately is a logging in issue whenever I spend too long replying I have to log in again before I can post meaning I usually lose the post.. it did the same thing again when I made my second condensed reply except I copied it and it was there after pressing back twice.. when i try and post and the software tells me to login - I can't just login and continue - the software says it can't find the relevant thread I was posting in and I have to back up a bunch and hope the login "takes". pretty 'tarded.. could be a timing setting in the cookie or something maybe.. I dunno... but it started happening when I changed machine.. I'll try posting from another for a bit.

yes...I brought down my host's server last night with so many people doing 100's of whois requests, so I capped it. Maybe you are right that I over-capped it...it was running fine at 20...I just didn't want to take the chance. Maybe I should put a one sec delay between requests and try it at 20 or if someone else is interested in setting it up so that it can run unlimited, that could be a possiblity.
