My Syclone feels more stable in corners than my Typhoon. I think it's the longer wheelbase. I also think my Syclone sits a little lower than the Typhoon. I've run through the mountains with the Typhoon too and it's not as nice around the curves so I can see what you mean.

I think I would rather admit I lied about the gearing than admit I was racing a fucking KID IN AN IMPALA in my car full of people on public streets.

A big fucking thumbs-down to all involved, grow up guys.

If you cant spin the tires in second I dont know what to say. I can spin the tires in the 3 to 4 shift.

It's not mine, I'm waiting for the C6 Z06... really like the C5-R style paint scheme though with the CMotorsport wheels. :thumbsup

What kind of tires, how many miles do they have on them?

I have Bridgestone Potenza S03 Pole Position's with about 2000 miles on them. Once they get worn down to the wear indicator, then they slide around pretty good. I've found these to be the stickiest tires for the M3 and they have really good cornering feedback.

I don't know how to spin the tires when starting in 2nd gear. I'm not saying it can't be done. I just don't know how to do it in my M3.

With a SMG you probably don't have a whole lot of options.. with the regular 6-spd I'm sure you can chirp 3-4 or possibly even 4-5 if you rev it high enough and just side-step the clutch.

Just turn off the DSC on the dash, then the fun begins, just had to get new Michelin Pilots 400 a pop :(

I can chirp the tires on dry normal pavement all the way into 5 gear with the DSC OFF, Sport Mode ON and the shifting in "Puristic" mode.

I've driven both the 6spd and the SMG M3... all I can say is the SMG is really uninspiring, I cannot believe people buy automatic sports cars.
