    ....Can easily go 140 KPH in 1st gear?


    Then, when switched into second....It buries the punk that is trying to race you from the center lane with his mom's car.

Shift in to neutral, hold the button to shift up and put the accelerator to the fire wall, the electronic throttle control will dial up 3500 RPM, when the light changes to green let go of the up-shift button, the clutch will engage and the traction control will stop the wheels from spinning. There you are the perfect launch.

                                                                                                                              The downside on this story is that you can only repeat it 15 times until your clutch has to be replaced (and not under warranty! )

                                                                                                                                                                                          BMW claim 5.4 seconds 0-100kph... it would never get close to that if the ratios were long. It doesn't have huge torque (262nm) and it reaches peak torque at a lofty 4900rpm.

Some days I find myself saying "I hate this car"! How can I say that though? Just seems so ridiculous to even think it, but I get frusterated with that shifting.

I hate the auto shift-- the timing on is sucks and its not smooth at all. It's too jerky, so I manual shift and I do not use the paddle shifters, haven't got that down yet.

Like I take off in 1st and the car starts jerking back and forth (you know when you firsted learned to drive a stick) and it won't stop. You can't put the clutch in to stop it, you just have to shift and then you are going all slow, etc. Errrrkkk! I have not figured out what I am doing to make this happen, but it happens quite often no matter how smooth I try to take off.

                                                                                                                                                                                                  It's very common with highly tuned engines in general, though Medium Pimpin's program owner has a 2002 SMG M3 and it drives nothing like Cambo's 2004 SMG M3, it has none of the jerkyness at low RPMs that you're talking about whatsoever and it's got quicker response times. I think it's mostly just the tuning.
