Japanese youngsters lap up 'cool dogs'

Hot dog buns filled with ice cream instead of sausages, are keeping youth cool this summer in Japan's western Osaka city, local media reported on Monday.

"Ice Dogs" have been made popular by an Rokko Ranch Arai ice cream shop in downtown Osaka's America Village, a popular area for teens to buy American style clothes, according to Kyodo news agency.

They use milk and sugar in ice cream and some pastries/bread. Nasty, but they don't clash

If you eat ice cream in ice cream cones/waffle cones, I think you're already doing that... ice cream cones are mostly wheat, sugar, and some peanuts.
