If I owned it, I don't know what I could develop it into that would generate much revenue.

What are some potential business models for dns.com?

I doubt it.. it's too technical a term. It might as well be 3 random letters together to most normal people.

UltraDNS has built a huge company off of selling high-end DNS services. I know that AdultFriendFinder and many large mainstream companies are clients of theirs. In fact, we are thinking of using them.

But you probably don't need to spend $500k on a domain
to create a service like that.

dns is a geek term, and geeks aren't the type to go typing
things into the browser not knowing what will come out. instead
they use google.

i think it's worth up to $30k if one actually had development
plans for it.

Any company would be much better off spending $500k on niche-target advertising / branding their name. IMO.

I'm a domainer, but even I must agree.

Unless the domain is travel.com, casino.com, search.com, etc, your business is not guaranteed to be successful. However, with the proper marketers? $500k presents a shit load more potential/possibilities then any moderate domain name would.

Although at the same time, I'd take loans.com any day, over $2 million ad budget. Simply due to the fact that particular domains, much like the one above, are standalone income generators. They can bring in a very high residual income without any development/marketing/branding.

I meant, that's where the domain DNS is featured - GreatDomains.com

As for your domains? You will not see anywhere close to $10k.
Not even low four figures. I'd be surprised if you got mid-three figures.

referrers.com is a one -word domain. I wouldn't expect to get rich with it but you're undervaluing it. And being fucking obnoxious to boot.

Causatum.com is a one word .com as well, yet it is fucking worthless.

Not to mention, your shit is fucking plural, and just overall, utter garbage. Refer.com? Great name. Referrer.com? Shitty name. Referrers.com? Even shittier. Like I side, you'd be lucky to low-mid three figures for it. Don't hate the player, hate the Game you don't even know how to play.
