It was Mohammed's unique selling point to come up with the idea of men being superior to women and also the reason why this religion became so popular so fast (it's 500 years younger than christianity).

All the theory surrounding the islam is just to cover up that one simple fact.

One of the first acts of Khomeini was to set down the legal age of sex for "women" to 11 years. In other words the age at which childs could be legally molested. But it gets even better. If one molested a child under that age, the punishment would be that he "could not do it again".

The whole "the koran does not say this" thing really wears off too because the way the islam is interpreted and practised right now is what counts.

I am in no way condemning the people in the region but obviously the islam in its currently widely accepted and practised "interpretation" is bringing out the absolutely worst in men.

I DO think that men in the west wouldn't be much different if given the chance for 1500 years straight.

Let a few non-muslims spend a men-only 6 months-vacation with no women anywhere and they'll stop shaving, start farting, and begin looking at women as being fuck flesh. After a while they would even come up with a surrounding theory, i.e. a religion that kinda urges them to be just like that.

That very situation exists in islamic regions since 1500 years now. There are virtually no women as they have absolutely no say. No man needs to be successfull, in shape, shave and bath or achieve anything. He'll always be "superior" to any women, and always be granted his piece of ass.

If it weren't for the oil, africa would be filthy rich compared to the islamic region. I have yet to see them actually produce anything, ever. The oil is what allows them to keep up that archaic and perverted kind of morals, driven by sex and nothing else, up untill today.
