Kerry's unit is much larger than just the 5 guys on his boat. The unit consists of several boats and on the missions in question, multiple boats took part and no one outside of kerry's campaign (read that as "5 guys on his boat") agrees with kerry's version of events. to assume 250 guys who say kerry is wrong are all republican paid liars but the 5 kerry supporters are not paid and truthfull is naive at best. |

For the record- people pointed out that Bush joined the National Guard and deserted long before the Kerry Campaign.
I don't know how people can try to shoot down Kerry's war record when Bush didin't even have the staying power to make it through guard duty? GW is a "draft dodger" just like Clinton, he just had stronger family ties. |

but however, Bush is the one trying to keep the argument in the past, and harping on events from 30 yrs ago, kerry is only returning fire, if bush tried to argue the modern dasy debates that effect us all, you would see more states termed battleground states, switching like Oregon has, we now have a comanding 12 point lead over Bush here, and it is only growing stronger..... |

sorry but can you back up how bush has helped in those areas please Im not trying to rag on yeah.. if you can prove that bush is a good thing for the us and the rest of the world please do. Frankly i think there both morons but in a 2 party system your fucked both ways |

now, where's that proof dubya ever showed up for guard duty? |
Someone in this thread got owned today. The head of the anti-Kerry group got caught in a lie on tape and his original comments to Richard Nixon back up Kerry's story.
His recent comments about Kerry have now been proven to be lies: O'Neill said no one could cross the border by river and he claimed in an audio tape that his publicist played to CNN that he, himself, had never been to Cambodia either. But in 1971, O'Neill said precisely the opposite to then President Richard Nixon. O'NEILL: I was in Cambodia, sir. I worked along the border on the water. NIXON: In a swift boat? O'NEILL: Yes, sir. (END VIDEOTAPE) http://www.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0408/24/asb.00.html John O'Neill got busted and Kerry was right all along. :1orglaugh |

Sweet! :thumbsup |
They probably will spew some BS about national security and not telling the truth where they were etc.... of course they were in cambodia, ( but remeber we claimed for years we were never there)

Kerry wants to run on his war record because his Senate record is MORE liberral then Kennedys!
If Kerry was honest he would come out and say he was a liberal. But Liberals hate to use the "L" word. |
Want to know what I think about all this?

I agree!! I am a Libertarian at heart. I think the gov't is too big, and controls to much power. I am for strong defense, conservative economic policies, and gov't out of peoples personal lives AND wallets! I think adults should be able to be adults and not treated as children by the gov't. |
