So, you figure you got $7k because you put it up for auction and supposedly a bid has been made for that amount.

First of all, to put this in the realm of believability, let's pretend that you aren't the one actually making the bid. If the bid were real, what guarantee do you have that you will ever actually receive the money ?

It is usually the most prudent course not to spend the money before it's in your greedy little hands. Spending money they don't have is how most folk get into money problems. Since you have in the past talked about being fairly forlorn on the financial side, you are probably aware of that little fact first hand.

Now, back to earth here. You do realize that it is impossinble to owe yourself money in any but the most poetic sense, so once you place the highest bid and transfer the domain to yourself, how you gonna pay you the 7k?
