The Hun and his almost 3million hits/day

Getting a Hun listing is getting worse and worse. With Almost 3million hits daily, if you submit a picture gallery, but especially movie gallery... your bandwidth will get fucked over....

Obviously it won't happen, but the only way the traffic could be more worth while would be for TheHun to change the front page to Categories... ie. You've got all the teen lover clicking their hearts out on one page, the shemale lovers clicking their hearts out on another page.

With the amount of traffic going to that site, and given how close each link is to each other, the horny bastards would just start clicking.... I'm sure alot of the surfers hit a lot of links they have no interest in, shemale, gay... sure if they don't want it, they won't download the movies or click the thumbs. But if 100,000 accidently click a gay link, given that 16 thumbs (5kb each) and 4kb for the HTML file.. thats 84kb per frontpage view.. x 100,000 and all of a sudden you just lost over 8gb.

Thats just my I submitted a Japanese pic gallery recently, took 40gb in bandwidth.. made $60... that 40gb put me over for the month and cost me $30.

I dont need a sig.

I submit a gallery to the hun once every month or so.. just to see how it goes(usually send the traffic to an avs no paysite), I see what your saying.. but I'm not hating, its an awesome TGP.. and the amount of daily traffic is absolutely amazing...

The Hun has some fantastic traffic, it sometimes can be hard though to match his traffic up with a program/site that will convert. Best thing to do is keep trying different programs with his traffic until you find something that works. Then buy as many listings as you can get your hands on

And his traffic continues to grow... I too am amazed. There is nothing that even comes close to a site like thehun (TGP with all bookmark traffic, no trades). Only other site I know even coming close to what thehun is doing is Mark's bookmarks.

No offense, but if 40 gigs really makes that much of a difference to your hosting deal, profitability, and/or biz plan, then you should either: a) get appropriate hosting for gallery submitting, or b) don't submit galleries. Especially to The Hun.

if you read I only submit to the hun once a month for that reason..

if 'only 40gb' was taken daily just from my hun listings, then I would be using 1.2TB/month for hun listings..

I did read what you said. Which is why I said you should either get a different hosting plan or stop submitting there. His traffic is not a secret. If bw is a concern for you whatsoever, you shouldn't be sending galleries to his site. Personally, I wish he would do away with all free hosts, as well.

Your 1.2 TB a month figure doesn't even matter. You're not going to get a daily listing on the hun unless you're doing paid spots. In that case, bw shouldn't matter either. You can only submit every 3 days or so, so you're only going to have a few galleries listed per month, at the very best. Bottom line- if you have to even think twice about bw, don't submit to him. Get some good partner accounts and stick with them.
