OK... Here it comes...

I'm having a really hard time picking the winner because the designs are OK, but not really fit for an agency on a well-known and upscale street.

Just a few comments...

The "Newbury" part of the name is NOT important. The street it's on is called Newbury St.... so it's just not that important. The "Modeling" part IS important, so it should STAND OUT.

The sign should look classy and be visible ( at least the name, at most important the modeling part of it).

I'm therefore EXTENDING the contest until 3am tonight. Through in a business card logo (same theme) and I'll pay $150.

The chick in a circle is a cool touch but it's NOT a visible sign. Font too small. Read my post above... :)

No offence but this is CRAPPY if ya ask me. These thoughts of yours should have been explained in the origional contest rules.

I'm sure 1/2, if not more of the people that submitted designs are no longer near a computer to re-do there work.

Total waste of EVERYONES time that entered.

The only thing that was crappy was the logos themselves. I doubt anyone wasted much time doing these. i was going to do 2 logo contests, now I think I will just pay someone I know will do something good.

any more time and work involved would require at least 3 times that amount...you're asking for corporate identity...and on top of it all, you have started a contest...the reason there are contests is because the prize is more than what it would cost just to get it done. why do you think you havent seen any crazy designs yet? (no offense to the designers) at least double the prize and give it a few more days :2 cents:

hehe.. not much.. been good and busy which combined with gfy logging me out every 5 minutes put a dampner on posting here - I don't want to have to work at procrastinating by logging in 20 times a day... easier just to actually work :) It's funny it's been a few months.. kinda almost don't want to get hooked again into the same old shit and watching oracle porn/other newb whine about this or that etc.

Interesting watching these comps... I swear you could run a design agency and outsource it all to GFY designer-monkies for $200 a pop there are enough good designers like thediablo and galleryseek that are occasionally bored enough to enter..

I think he should halve the prize and make the designers guess the company name.
