i think it will almost always be $2 per free reg., and on random days they'll have the $5 per free reg. -

your stats will never reflect your actual payout. unless you do the calculation manually, you only find out your payout when they cut the check.Originally posted by aaron

the stats will always show $2 a join, but the actual amount will fluctuate based on your conversion from free joins to paid joins.
and if your conversion from free to paid is less than 1:27, they'll pay you $40 per signup instead.
but of course, the stats don't reflect the ratio either. so you have to calculate that manually, and then calculate your payout manually as well unless you don't mind surprises on your checks.

"After reviewing monthly affiliate statistics, we will automatically convert affiliates that do not meet the ratios defined on the above graph. For example, after reviewing affiliate statistics, we may convert affiliates that do not meet the 28-1 (qualified guest to sign up ratio) to an initial signup payout without notification. If you do not agree with our decision to change the schedule, your affiliate membership can be terminated as provided in these terms"
