Hey, what do you know... The DWB needs a BJ and has a great little video camera laying around that sounds exactly what your looking for.
 If that is out of the question, what's your budget for the cam? If you want cheap I'm guessing a 3 chip is out. |

I would check out circuit city.. they have been having digital vid cams in the $200 to $400 dollar range lately . I want to get a very small hand held one to take on my climbs and hikes..the regular sized one is too bulky.

If you want to use it for the net, Sony DCR-HC40 is bottom end; anything less won't give you net quality. It has an optional light that you can order from the website. The camera is $600 and the light is another $100, and you can get it at Fry's.

I was just looking into the same thing - find the Panasonic PV GS15 looks good. It's really small - has a lot of interfaces (firewire and USB2) and has a built in bright light!! You're going to need a video editor to make those clips look good. And a DVD author to put your DVD together. And a bad ass trailer maker to get members in the first place.
