Battery Backups Don't Work When....
You don't plug the computer into the correct plugs in the back
![]() I don't know how I did that, but I have had this thing for quite a while, I hope that I learn to read the instructions more carefully next time ![]() ------------------ Make dirty money from your surfers Dirty Gold Jack Thumbs TGP Search Engine Driven TGP - Pages LISTED INSTANTLY |

They also don't work when your idiot-ass bandwidth supplier you co-locate with decides to plug unclean generator power directly into them. This is of course after we expressed concern about not having on-line UPS'es, yet they assured us it was fine. :P

My battery back up has saved my puter many a time.. I would highly recommend everyone have it. There actually pretty cheap to buy now. A very smart investment.

Yeah i shut everything down and plugged the computer and monitor into the "correct" outlet now
I sure got a suprize this morning when the power went off, and thought "... I have five minutes to shut down my computer..." only to find that it was already off. Then I have that stupid shut down error and have to wait eons while the computer scans the big hard drives for errors... |
