Best program to rip DVD into MPG or wmv

What program is best, or do you use to rip DVD's into mpeg format? or into WMV format?

Also, how long does it normally takes to rip a 4GB DVD? I have a P4 3,2HT 1GB ram,

Thanks!
Andre

I've been using VideoCharge.

Great little tool. Can rip right to whatever format you want. Will take screencaps and the new version will even watermark the new files.

Super DVD Ripper by TinySoft. Sorry, no url handy, Google it. The time it takes to rip a DVD depends on lotsa factors, like how fast is your puter and how long the DVD is.

Exactly.

I've got one box that can do it in a few hours and one that takes all night & then some.

Specs above, P4 3.2 HT 1GB fast ram, 7200SATA HDD's.

Lets say a 4GB DVD movie.

Not by the minute, but on average, I really have no idea, so an estimate would be cool

One hour at the most.
Rip takes about 10 minutes or less converting takes the most.
