Buying SCSI drives, what do i need to know? (used IDE only so far)
ive got 3 ides in there, 1 cdrom.. thats all 4 slots.
im thinking of buying a scsi drive.. what do i need to know about them? how are they different from ide?

Different interface, different cable.
Easy to deal with and other than that it's roughly the same in usage. I have some of the 15,000rpm segate drives and thought they were pretty quick.

how about firewire? are they faster than scsi drives?
