the "free" advertising they get will be worth it. they've factored it into the price already. but they are banking on renewals. perhaps they make it hard to transfer away, like 1&1 used to do.

And about Taboo, I think he is giving away excellent info about the domain biz, i'm new in that biz, and let me tell u, it's imposible to find someone willing to share info about the domain biz. Now, thanks to Taboo, i'm learning, having some troubles to find good domains, but learning after all.
