Are there any dialers that don't set off virus scanners?
Hello, I am farily new to the adult webmaster world. I got into using dialers about one week before the virus scanning companies starting listing them as trojans. As a result my minutes fell drastically. Is there any dialer programs that are offering dialers that will not set off the virus software? I hope this question has not been asked to death (I have been gone for three weeks). Any help/advice would be appreciated. Thanks |

One of the anti-virus companies started flagging up a few (not all) of our diallers as Trojan Horses. After a bit of a battle, we persuaded them that this classification was incorrect, and they reclassified them as application programs.
So, right now, I think ours don't. If they start to, then I guess that a mild shifting around of bits of code should be enough to fix things :-) Dave |

dialers are not evil. Some of the webmasters that promote them are.

Yes I was using an .exe file. The dialer site had their own content ( I was using dialoff). What I am looking for is something similar that wont trigger the scanners. I was wondering if maybe just a program that dosent replicate itself. If anyone out there on this board offers dialers that are not scanned as viruses speak up. I need one that also connects the surfer to content that the dialer company provides.

Once again, I find myself speaking for the ethical position: If one can't make money honestly and without trickery, perhaps he should find a business he's actually good at.
