Holy fuck I never been so bombarded with guerilla marketing in my entire fucking life. First I had these "Free" kids tickets. So they give you those and at the bottom it says "$7.50" value, so you're thinking "Ok well if the kids tix are only $7.50 the adult tix can't be that much"... Get to the show they are $20 ea. There I am down $40 right away. Get inside and they have the "Circus Trinket" stands. They got that shit flung in the kids face so hardcore it's not even funny. Bunch of shit I could get at the dollar store but here it's a bit more expensive. I buy my daughter a spongebob balloon and my son a light up hat. $25 more dollars. Oh well once inside the fucking announcer is going on and on about how they have these "Magical" coloring books and the kids won't be able to get a coloring book like this ANYWHERE else in the world and if they don't have one they will be sad. He is announcing this shit. Then he says, "We are gonna send around our coloring book associates...so kids...raise your hands real high if you want one"... Oh yeah I am gonna be the only asshole not paying $7 for this damn comic book while all the other parents are whipping out the cash. Oh and not just one...both son and daughter need their own. $14 more dollars. Then it's time for the drink/peanut/popcorn/trinket/snowcone guy to come around. One box popcorn (10-15 kernels) $4...One drink (one and one half sips...lots of ice) $4...One Cotton candy $4...One Snowcone $3...$15 more dollars. Then at the circus "halftime" or intermission or whatever, the announcer gets back on and is pushing these lightup sword things that blink and change color..."Kids you can't leave here without one...tell mom or dad RIGHT NOW That you have GOT TO HAVE one of these "Magical" swords...only $10 ea." $20 more dollars...
...not one fucking elephant in the whole show. It was the russian circus so it was just a bunch of juggling and balance shit. I didn't know that before we went lol. Was pretty cool but not really worth the $100+ bucks. The kids enjoyed it though so I guess that's what counts.

Been to the circus once as a kid. Remeber having fun. Have no plans to go back.
