computer/internet guys please help meee

i can load any website fine, except web based email..

gmail
hotmail
LSU's student email

those pages wont load, it just gives me that gay "The Page Cannot Be Displayed" error


any ideas/suggestions?

the hosts file cant be why it wont load, gmail/hotmail..etc.. arent in the list, i cleared the list anyways, deleted all cookies, and it still wont load

and its not a proxy either, im at some apartments off campus, i've loaded the websites before

sounds like you have some serious spyware aimed at free email sites....i have gotten this before

grab yourself 2-3 of the more popular spyware removal tools and run them, should take care of that

but if it is spyware that restricts websites chances are you won't be able to go to the main pages of the spyware removers....so you will have to get them from downloads.com or some place like that

i had some spyware last month that blocked EVERY single homepage of spyware removers
