Where can I find info on pornography laws for particular states/counties?
I'm developing a website for a client, and I figured before I do this, I better make sure pornography is legal where he lives. I know I have seen somewhere where you can search on area codes or zip codes? to find out if there are laws where you are at, but can't find the site. Anyone know where I can look?

I found a site, and it is cool where he lives. I didn't want it to be some sort of entrapment deal for me....(ok, I watched conspiracy theory one too many times) I was glad to see it was cool where he lived, and he wasn't just hiring me because it was illegal where he was at, lol.

I'll ask my boyfriend when he gets home tonight, he found it, lol. I'd be happy to share it. It had each state listed in a table, and the general laws in each state.

Lighting (and anyone else) The website is at: http://www.houstonadult.com/laws.html
And it has State Laws on Obscenity, Child Pornography and Harassment in table form, and some definitions. It doesn't break down into county, but at least it gives you the state level. It is actually an adult site, and that is its warning page. Go figure. Its so hard to define what each one of these phrases mean.. It can be defined in multiple ways, depending on who or what administration is enforcing the laws.
