A rumour I heard about google PR

Any new domain registered is put into a 3 month probationary period before the domain is givin a PR.

    Anyone else hear this?

By the way, I've been vacationing all summer so I'm a little of out of the loop

Only $600 bucks for this premium domain: email maximillion76 -at- gmail
(Not to be confused with Topbucks' "AllGayRealityPass.com")

A better rumor would be that PR really stands for "Playin' 'Round" and now that they have a new cash flow they don't care if anyone finds out they sit around all day screwing with PRs and laughing their asses off while reading webmaster boards
                .

I assume you mean sandboxing, a process where Google supposedly temporarily "holds" a new link (that is not grandfathered in).

Maybe that explains a little bit the sand trap effect ...

I doubt its true.. I've had new domains get PR faster then that.. unless its changed very recently.
