nobody would go with me and going home late on my own isn't something I like to do. London at the moment is a bit chilly and raining but 4 days ago it was fucking hot. If you are going to be on the Thames I wouldn't suggest shorts..those winds can be chilly.Comment

Absolutely. We are staying at the Radisson Edwardian Hampshire which is about a mile away from the pier of departure. Not sure if there is a set hotel that people are staying at but this one should be decent.Originally posted by Darren

Holy crud are you going to be spolit for stuff to do. That hotel is right in the middle of leicester square. I was going to stay there a few months ago but it fell through. I hope the windows are thick because the square is about as busy a place you can get in London that time of night.Comment

well it is where a lot of bars and clubs are and where the big cinemas that have the premiers are located. It might be a bit nosiy but you can't get much more central. China town is right there..almost directly across the way from your hotel is the side of the sqaure that borders it. Just for the love of god don't eat at any of the Angus or Aberdeen Steakhouses. They are there for no other reason than to rip off tourists and the food stinks too.Comment
