Best TV in the $2-2.7k price range?

I need a new tv, widescreen a must.

Don't wanna spend more than $2700, as its just an extra tv.

Why in hell would you want to spend 2.7k on a fucking TV ? Buy a new computer screen or something ...

I never watch TV . Most I'd pay for a tv is like 500-1000 .

Im checking out the same price range for TV's so far Sony's 50" LCD is looking pretty good, aside from its bulb problems. Very nice picture though and a nice size to boot. You can get it for a deal for around $2400, retail is running near $3K.

          Take Luck!

Well, do you want to watch HDTV material? Do you have the equipment for it? (Satellite TV HD Receiver, or cable TV HD terminal)?

For that money, you could also get a pretty good hooker for a night. Think about it.

Get yourself a Mitsubishi Widescreen. I have a 65" one and it cost me 2700+tax a year and a half ago. No problems at all

I have HDTV available, yes, so the tv I get, will definately have that.

The samsung looks REAL nice... Im going to a tourney tonight, and the guy has one... I need to look closer at it.

As for the price... I watch alot of DVDs.

And $2700 isnt that much at all, for the entertainment.

My dad has a 65 mitsu, its nice, but... for some reason, it just seems really stretched, not sure if its the size and my eyes, or what.
