    If they close your paypal account, what can you use for ebay?

    Seems like without a paypal account you are basically out of luck as far as ebay goes.

    If they close your account for doing adult transactions, can you open another account under your same name and simply keep your transactions limited to non-adult, or are you finished as far as Paypal is concerned?

      It would be a lot simpler to just not use your pay pal account for adult transactions.

      If you want to accept $$ for an adult related item via pay pal, you can always tell the buyer to pay pal you a 'donation'. If you use this method, it is unlikely pay pal will ever find out.

          Ya, but what if you've been nailed already?

          Even though it wasn't for real adult-related transactions, just for advertising on a webmaster resource site. I guess that fits their definition of adult-related now. (edit: I think I was nailed because I received funds from people with adult domain name email addresses)

          Anyone here ever tried to open up a new account?

              Ive tried to open a new paypal account, but the card and bank account are locked onto your old one, so you cant use them on a new one

                      OK, that makes sense. Such a shame they have a monopoly on ebay transactions, I wouldn't use them at all anymore if they didn't.

                          Hmm! If they're THAT adult-unfriendly, it might be best to just not use them at all, for anything. Unfortunately, ebay owns pay pal so that would be the ideal payment processor to use (on ebay).

                          My pay pal account is under the email [email protected], so it's probably not long for this world, especially if they're on a holy crusade.

                          I have not used my pay pal account for a long time and when I do, I only use it for ebay. I recently sold a PSA 9 LaFleur RC and had the buyer pay pal me the $$.
