Heck, they gave him Tylenol #3 for a broken ankle. Here in the states you get GOOD drugs for stuff like that :winkwink:
Tell me about it. I had major surgery in Canada on numerous occasions, and all I got was some shitty codeine. They sliced away a major facial bone (I won't tell which) and screwed it back at a different angle, and yet all I got was codeine! They extracted my wisdom teeth... codeine! I had a broken nose: codeine!

amazing - the quickest service i've ever experienced. i done hospitals in Edmonton, Banff and Montreal, and of course it's always been a 3-4 hour affair. here in Whistler i get to the hospital (the parking lot is packed), and in 5 minutes i'm talking to a doctor. absolutely stunning service.
im really glad to hear that... :)

Cool :) And I'm ASSuming you can pay $75 to change it again? If so, then change the tickets now as far off as they'll allow (usually 364 days) then when you get a set date, you can put them back on the date you need them.

Things are looking better already. Now you just need to get your brother to answer your calls, get you some good pain killers, up your Netflix account, get the name of all the food delivery places and you're set. :thumbsup

yep, that's the plan. i'm going to give them a call tomorrow and change out the dates for a year later. there's an awesome food delivery service out here that delivers food from any and all restaurants in Whistler - woohoo. painkillers are in the works too...

Yeah we cranked the A/C at the Sundial hotel last night. Woke up at checkout time and busted it outside. Gotta love the feeling of opening the door and getting nearly knocked over by the gust of hot air.

In Whistler you'll fit right in. When I was in the village the last two days I must've seen like 20+ people on slings and clutches.

Scandinavia's Witchcraft doing No Angel No Demon. These guys are one of my current faves. They are trying to do this old Sabbath like eerie stoner rock man. Killer stuff.

I feel ya, I just had acl reconstruction surgery on my knee (2nd one). While I'm glad its over, I'm looking at a long journey of physical therapy and a year before I can play hoops again. I basically go from the bed to the pc and back and to make matters worse the oxy contin they gave me for pain relief is giving me a 103 temperature.
