I said it twice and I will say it again...
I had a great time down there even though I spent little time inside... the music was too loud for me and I was not too much into party but more into talking biz...

but I had no real problem getting in considering Stephen was there to take care of me, a friend and 15 other guys who had some probs with the doormen.

From the party itself (people who were inside) I've only heard positive feedback.

Thanks Stephen, Gigacash & all other sponsors

oh and... my buddy stayed there until 7 am lol
he liked it too haha

Helmy-

GigaChris and Gigabugbee deserve a week off for the amount of stress that your company put them thru. They were under tremendous burden to handle the crowds of this size on their own. There should of been more Helmy male staff to manage the venue, besides the security.

As an Operations Manager, I totally understand your stance and defense. However, a few "simple" things could of been done and thought of in advance:

1) The event should of been an Internext Exclusive and not open to the public. Period.

2) The shuttles should of dropped off the VIP and All ACCESS guests at the proper locations instead of at the front public entrance with the mobs of ghetto crowds.

What a rough ride it was. Yeah some minor stuff wrent awry but with a party of this scale that's going to happen no matter what, you just hope for the best and that any problems that come up will be as small as possible.

The big issue, the issue with the venue staff not letting people in at that point was out of your control and you did all you could to get people in.

I appreciate the fact that on Sunday morning you found me on the show floor to apologize for me not being able to get into the party. You are a stand up guy and I know a lot of people would have just hid in their hotel room for the rest of the show.

From the pics the venue looks awesome on the inside, so I know why you guys chose it for the event. It just kinda blew up on you and we've seen other people who have thrown many parties have the same thing happen - the venue staff can at their own will, ruin the event for everybody.

From the people that did attend I heard a lot of good things about it. Here's to next year's show, hopefully the next venue won't give us any problems and everyone will get to experience all the hard work you guys put into the event.

Its not my style to yell, I don't think I yelled...I knew I could have flashed a Franklin and got in but I didn't do it on the principle. If I yelled or acted in any way unprofessionally I apologize. I actually was more occupied holding back my business associate from raising too big of a ruckus.

I see Pipecrew in one picture, but other then him I don't see anyone else I recognize from meeting them or other convention pictures. I really don't understand why sponsors would be happy about spending thousands of dollars on bringing in bands while their webmasters couldn't get in to enjoy the show, but locals could get in to enjoy the show.

No I do not or claim to. But I know quite a few and you can usually tell a webmaster from a local. ; ) I'm not saying anything horrible, there have been plenty of parties that have had problems. I'm just saying that I don't think for the money and time invested, you will get the return.

I love how all the people who have never contributed a dime to a sponsorship feel that they know all the answers.

Putting together something of this magnatude would have been a herculean task, and I don't envy the organizers one bit.

Things go wrong, and I'm certain that the organizers immediately dealt with their sponsors; who also know that things go wrong now & then.

As a sponsor, I would have been more embarassed to have my banner on the wall of that overrated bingo hall upstairs on Thursday night.

We had a lovely time. We showed up without enough passes, were immediately escorted through the back door, and remained in a comfortable vip area until about 4am. Yes the queue at the bar was a little unpleasant, along with the watered down $12 drinks, but that's par for the course.

Thanks to Corey and the Mojo team who were able to show us such a good time that evening!
