I don't believe in Santa Clause, but I have no intention of starting an organization for other 'non-believers'. What is the fucking point of staring an organization to promote something you DON'T BELIEVE IN. What could you possibly be PROMOTING, except the eradication of the opposite belief.

The ONLY reason atheist organizations like American Atheists, INC., exist is to try to stamp out the belief in God, which, of course, they will fail to do. These organizations spend millions every year trying to get local courthouses to take down statues of the 'Blessed Virgin' when children are starving in the world. Nice to see they have their priorities in the right place.

The goal of an Athiest organization isn't to stomp out people's belief in god, but to make damn sure Athiests continue to enjoy their ability to BE Athiests.

I don't think I've ever had an Athiest knock on my door, or stop me on the street and ask "Have you dismissed Jesus Christ as your imaginary saviour?"
