I've had conversations with Jeff. Do you think it is possible that this guy could be changing? He is under the wing of a massive and majorly respected company.
Do you think he is changing?

I honestly believe he has changed a lot since the last LAST time I talked to him say in February or whatever it was.
Do you think people can change? And SHOULD they or can they be trusted again?

I'm a man of second chances and he seems so good these days.

I just had a very nice conversation with him earlier. He was very help and i see him as a great guy. The incident in the past did not touch me, and i never bothered to find out. He is a great guy in my book.

Before anyone goes off at me. I do not allow others feeling toward one affect the way i feel about the person. I like to get to know people myself and decide of the person is a nice person or not. Jeff in this case is a very nice fella.

All I can say is; time will tell.

We dont expect for things to be better overnight. I would be dreaming to think thats the case. We have done our very best to make things right and get back on our feet. Its taken 8 months and I have not done it on my own. We had help from good people... people that stuck by us through the whole thing asking questions and finding a balance on what all went down. Bottom line.. people were paid and issues were resolved and I didnt have to hide under a fake name when we relaunched. While I am very unhappy with how I handled some issues and the things that went on, I can hold my head high knowing i did my very best to make it right.

Still, people kicking me in the nuts everyday over bullshit that didnt even effect them and were far removed from the situation. Floating accusations just for shits and grins. What I find interesting... the people that were actually effected hardly said a word, while people who had no knowledge of what went on mounted the biggest assults. Oh well... such is life.

Thanks Brad... and as I said above. Time will tell. However, I know what my intentions are and they are well grounded.

The problem is that most people along the way took your same feelings towards Jeff, and then they too got burned. Eventually enough of the people that thought they were isolated incidents came forward and we all realized Jeff was screwing over dozens of people. I too believe in second chances and believe that people can change for the better. However, I don't fully believe Jeff has made amends for all the havoc he created. Seems he just took a three month hiatus and has burst back on the scene.

What about all the fees people incurred due to Jeff's bounced checks? What about all the models and designers that had to settle for a reduced payment from Jeff months later just so they would at least get some payment for their services after he strung them out for months with excuses for non payment? What about all the webmasters of his program who don't read GFY and didn't know they were being fucked out of all their rebills? I can go on and on, the point is, I don't believe just because he seems sincere and nice now that you forget what he did over the last two years. Jeff has fucked up before, this is far past his second chance. Only time will tell, I do believe everyone can change, but its got to take more than a one time apology.

JEFF did not change. he just doesn't have monetary control anymore. Jeff is still the same bottom feeder he always was and judging from his comments on this board since his return, he has gotten to be an even worse off moron. The fact that he is financialy"tied" by a larger, might I say, somewhat respected company has gotten to his ego and it's apparent. His attitude stinks, the only reason people got paid was because someone ELSE paid his bills for him and I see no heart felt appologies nor reperations for all the stolen rebills made.

In some respects you are right. I didnt change really. I'm still the same person that I was before. What happened in the past were primarally tided to cashflow issues. We could not pay bills ontime because our debt outweight our income. Happens to business everyday. However, most, in my situation file for bankrupcy and never pay back one dime. I didnt do that. Also, you suggest that someone else paid my debts besides myself. Simply not true. No one paid one dime of the money I owed to anyone.... 95% of all my debt was cleared well before pornkings bought our sites. Pornkings did not pay my debts. I had one small bill left at Cavecreek for about 130.00 or something like that. Pornkings did pay that amount since they had an account there also.... three days later Pornkings had that paid back to them. Ask. That was the one and only time Pornkings acted on an old perfection cash debt.

As for the rebills. Everyone that came forward was paid back... in TRIPLE I might add on every rebill that was lost. There were two people that came in and said forget it and they didnt want the money. I gave them every chance to allow me to make good on the rebills and they refused. I will pay them triple to this day if they would accept the money. However, every rebill has been paid back in triple on all that we found.... with the exception of the two I mentioned above.

As for my comments on the board; Keep in mind in order to rebuild this, one needs to be somewhat agressive. I'm picking my battles... standing up where I feel I should and being humble when I need to also. I dont blame you for not liking my board persona.... I dont really either, but I have a job to do.... and part of that job is being aggressive and visable. Its my job... not who I am on a day to day basis.

As for my ego being tied to the purse strings of the bigger company. Me, Jeff... has little to no ego... considering the personal attackes and the loss of the company I put two years of my life into I have no ego at all. If anything, my self esteem is shot all to hell. Not having the day to day huge money issues to worry over allows me to focus on work and be much more productive, but it sure has not changed my ego. However, I am feeling pretty good about how well perfection girls is doing now. Its exciting to see it finally have the chance to do as well as I always knew it would. Sorry, shouldnt I feel good about that?

Anyways, I do see your point and from your perspective... I would agree on most all of your opinons. Just try to remember, what you read from me, might not always be a reflection of who I am or how I really interact with people I do business with.

Every check (five total) was paid within days or them coming back.. some within hours and we covered the bank fee's everytime. Models were paid in full and not one designer settled for a reduced payment to setttle. In fact.. a couple designers wer paid extra, above there bill for waiting.... as they should. We paid every dime, in full and we paid triple the money lost on the rebills.

Just wanna make sure the facts are straight. Thats the first I ever heard of designers taking consessions. That never happened. They were all paid in full.

Why not pay all of your affiliates who "lost" rebills instead of just paying the ones who came forward? I'm sure there were many of your affiliates who don't read gfy or the other major boards and had no idea they were being fucked out of rebills, why not send them a check since you have all of their info.

We did pay everyone... two people refused payment. There were not nearly as many rebills as was thought by the gfy population. We paid back every rebill that was missed with the exception of the two that refused payment. One is a prominate board member so if he see's this thread he is welcome to post on it. The other, left the board about a month after this happened.

LOL are you serious? Look... you dont have a clue about the dollar amounts that were owed. You are not even close. My total debt when I started paying everything back was under 5k. Not half of that was rebills. Please... post whatever, but dont pull shit out of your butt.

Look... everyone was paid. Some took weeks, some months, others were paid within days. The point is... they were paid. I would have gave my left nut to pay them all on time. I would have. However, they were all paid. I cant do more then that. The debt was never that large to began with. I wish it had went differently but it didnt. I still feel like I did the right thing by paying everyone and doing my best to make things right. Sorry if you dont see it that way.

Anyways, if you really want to talk and find out more of what happened. Give me a call. Im an open book. However, other then little comments here and there, I'm done defending myself on these issues here on gfy. I have done my very best to make sure everything was made right.
