Gold to reach $800/oz

What do you guys think? Its on a similar path as in the early 80s.. Anyone think it will hit the $800 mark again? if you havent already invested, now may be the time.

Gold has an inverse relation to the strength of the USD. If gold hits $800, you'd also be looking at $100/barrel (oil being another inverse correlation).

All I can say is, if gold hits $800, you're in serious, serious shit. If you anticipate that kind of mobility you're better off investing in europe or the far east.

Gold is not tied to the USD in the big scheme of things.

... just look at some charts from the 70's and 80's.

Gold prices have held artificially low for several years to keep Wall Street looking good. When the manipulation stops, expect the price to rise dramatically.
