                      I've only helped register 4 people myself, two of which haven't voted since Nixon. Every little bit helps I guess, especially in NV.

                                                  The majority of American voters did not vote for George Bush the first time (in fact, Bush's car on inauguration day was pelted with eggs). Since Kerry is ahead by four points in states like Florida with deep Bush ties, the chances are very poor for Bush pulling off a second win. He'd have to cheat to do it.

                                                              They just updated the polling stats - Kerry is now six points ahead in Florida and eleven points ahead in California. The only serious national poll that shows Bush ahead is one recent Gallup and it is within the 3+ Gallup margin of error so it is statistically a dead heat.
