        Easy guys

That was a genuine company selling its product. Don't be so hard on those emails because the senders have included phone # and address so I don't think they have bad intentions. Most of the time these people will remove you from a list without future problems.

Its the loan sharks and other shit you want to complain about, these people often send more if you try and remove your address.

I'm not a spammer but believe I have the ability to look at both sides of things. I would prefer to get e-mail spam I can filter or simply delete vs. the crap I get in my mail box that is killing trees, I would prefer it over the freaking phone calls that always come at dinner time, or at 10am in the morning when I'm trying to get a couple of extra hours of sleep. I'm not saying that spam is all that, or that I want my e-mail box flooded with it, I'm just saying that you have to look at it from all sides.

Dont talk to me about spammers. Some low life thought it would be great to spam AOL'ers and use one of my email addies, so I got the abuse from the spamee's

Emailed the sponsor of the site, phat-cash.com, about it but never got a reply or anything so I guess even though they say they dont allow spam that they probably do.

I also tried spamming the spammer. Most of the time that doesn't work since they spoof other peoples email addresses or some non existent address. But one one it did work. I used a program called Una Bomber (mail bomber util) and sent 5000 copies of the same email to the spamming address, telling them that I didn't want to recieve their crap links to socalled "free porn". And I never heard from them again

If you want to stop a spammer go after their billing company - send a complaint to them. That hits them where it hurts the most. It doesn't stop them but it might get your name off the list.

Back in 1997, some asshole spammed the entire usenet with a pyramid scheme, and decided to use [email protected] as the "reply-to" address. OMG!!! It was my address, and it brought down the mail server of my ISP for a whole weekend when the mail bombs started coming.
Man, I sent out some very nasty emails back to the bomber brigade (I hadn't, by then, figured out what a pointless exercise it was).
One lives and learns. I have since had many websites closed (at least until they move to a different host) and at least 2 (that I can remember) user accounts (with their ISP) closed. Also numerous hotmail/yahoo mail accounts.
Once I learned that all ya havta do is send a *serious* complaint to the host/ISP with full details and your full name, it became a bit of a hobby for a while. Nowadays I don't care unless it's persistent from a single source.

Don't worry. I am not doing this kind of stuff anymore. That was years ago, when most mail servers relayed e-mails. Many servers have been upgraded and will log any such attempts to relay a ton of emails. I don't get that many spam mails myself at present time and I just delete the few ones that pop into my inbox.

I do it very simple. promote my website once again on this website: http://www.worldsubmitter.com

with THEIR emailadres. that will end up with getting them somewhere in between 80-100 emails / day from various spamlists for at least a month.

not a nice thing offcourse, but sometimes you have to

When you get a call during dinner or whatever and you're busy, and you know it's a telemarketer, just say, "Sure! Uh, can you hold on just a minute?" with a "smiling" voice, as if you were very willing to hear what they have to say. Then, when they say yes, just put the phone down, and leave it alone for a while. Chances are, they'll leave when you don't come back, and won't call you again. An additional option is to actually make fun of them while they're "on hold" and do it loud enough for them to hear. For instance, laugh and say, "Jeez, this asshole thinks I'm actually interested!" as if you were talking to someone else in the room (even if you're alone).

                              Good luck!
I often feel sorry for the poor people that get paid minimum wage to make the phone calls on behalf of some call center company that mointors their every word and measures every possible variable to determine how "effective" he/she is and whether he/she gets to kep his/her job. It must be one of the worst jobs out there.
I usually just interrupt them before they finish their first sentence by saying "No Thanx" and hanging up on them.

Suggestion how to counter telemarketing spam.

                                Caller: 'Blah.. blah.. great offer..'
Me: 'Just leave me your private number and I'll call you back.'
Caller: 'Uh.. We don't take these types of calls on our private numbers.'
Me: 'Neither do I.' -- SLAM!
