Every scientist in the free fucking world warned the U.S. FDA not to allow that shit into the food chain but the Republicans pulled a fast one on them.

Same shit happened with Hemp back in the 1920's. Every scientist worth a shit and the AMA wanted to use hemp for industry as it's multiple uses are extraordinary. No other plant equals it's versatility, but some Hearst 'wood pulp/lumber' asswipes sent hired goons on the AMA and pumped that propoganda bullshit out about it being an evil drug etc.
