The surfer said he contacted his bank and he obviously contacted TheHun.
What is odd is that there is no mention of him contacting freeadultpasses
or supabill.com. It is possible he is doing his follow-ups one at a time but...
one has to be careful with allegations. If this is the only email received,
accusing freeadultpasses of over-charging, then one would have to take
this accusation w/a-grain-of-salt.
Unless there is multiple instances of this occurring with freeadultpasses
then it must be ignored or at the very least tell the surfer you will monitor
for more instances but have not heard of this sponsor overcharging before
and you are "looking into it" (which means 'sorry, you stand alone.')

If those emails all seemed to have come in a short time period
I would suspect foul play from some pissed-off surfer or FAP
competition. The whole thing strikes me odd from the orig posting.
The bit about "$96 X 2" when the surfer says he did not go for the
upgrade.

My guess (in that particular instance) is the surfer got fired-up about
free access and pumped his CC in for the entrance...once in, he discovered
ugly women and upgrades. It is a classic charge-back situation. For the
competition theory, well get thehun to blacklist and it could cost someone
a few dollars.

I haven't seen any bitchin' about FAP or supabill.com anywhere else
frequented by Adult webmasters. To cheat $96 X 2 on a $5.00
temp-pass...well...the whole thing is too exaggerated.

I would email the surfer back, ask him if he contacted FAP and supabill.com.
Take his response and forward it to http://www.sponsorpost.com or
[email protected] he spends his time investigating adult scams.

It wouldn't surprise me if something like this is going on; after all, Porncash pays up to $45 per free trial. Hell, CE couldn't even end up affording $25 per free trial.

If anything is "suspect" here the onus would fall on who handles the
CC #. In this case it seems to be supabill.com. Now I want to be careful
here cause I am not going to point fingers at any entity cause I am only
speaking as an observer...that said...

supabill.com was registered through Twocows not that that's bad, its just
unusual that a merchant is reg'ing domains through Twocows. The name
server at supabill.com is dnsrack.com and they were _not_ registered
through Twocows. The registrant is Supabill Services Inc. Dnsrack is hosted
by a company in Virginia (WorldNIC Name Host)...this could be considered
'unusual' but there is a rotten apple in all this...Supabill Services Inc has a
PO box address in Vancouver, B.C. Canada and the phone number reg's for
them is 14197811274 fax:14197811274. That would mean that 1 is for long
distance and 419 is Ohio. Also a fax number and a phone number on one
telephone line?

There is a stinky-fish in the basket somewhere. One possibility is that a US
company runs Supabill Services Inc in Canada (foreign companies get a tax
free credit for operating in Canada) so a US dollar is worth $1.50 in Canada
and added that foreign co.'s get the tax break then its possible someone is
just being dollar-efficient.

I would pass the case on to [email protected]. Let someone
who is willing to dig into these 'anomalies'. Your smart...you now what to
do with the rest. Let me know what happens if you take it further I find
it all rather 'interesting'.
