Novelty/Parody Songs
So, one of the 'net radio stations that I dj for has been having a little war between the djs to see who could play the most annoying novelty/parody song. I kind of have a secret love for the genre (especially parody) so I have thrown my hat in the ring for my show tonight but seeing as it is an 80's show they all have to be from the 80's. I am doing pretty good so far..I mean, weird Al is pretty much an 80's thing and Dr. Demto helps and then there are the ton of novelty songs that were released in the UK in the 80's (shudda up you face, etc).
Anyone else share an interestest in comedy records? I know it is strange but then so am I, btw...if anyone has "Dead Puppies" by the The Ogden Edsl Wahalia Blues Ensemble Mondo Bizzario Band or" Debbie Gibson is pregnant with my two headed love child" by Mojo Nixon I will be your best friend for the day ![]() |
