Anyway, you're missing the picture if you think death is the harshest punishment. When someone is terminally ill and in pain, we refer to death as an "end to suffering".

He doesnt need to die if he's guilty, he needs to suffer. A long long life, full of suffering to be more exact :glugglug

It's a purely circumstantial case so it can go either way. It's a shame, I wish there was more evidence. I think he is involved in the murders but without enough evidence or reasonable doubt we can't put him away.
