                  DarkJedi: basically all people, younger than ~60, here in Scandinavia have no
                  problems with the language.

                  We begin learning english in school at around age 10 and up to age 15 minimum.

                  Adding popular culture, with english on TV & the internet, on top of that...
                  people will even be able to speak back to you!

                                                          Yeah, we mostly speak english. Labret lived here for a while and he said he didn't learn the language because everyone spoke english. He didn't have to learn it.

                                                          I don't think you have any difficulties if you only speak english.

                                                          .. this place is expensive and has horrible taxes and 9 months of nasty weather. Welcome.

                                                                      Thats cool.. I hate travelling to places where there is a huge language barrier. I guess I'll have to head out that way one day.

                                                                          hey, i lived in norway, sweden and denmark... and definitively denmark is the best place to stay. specially copenhaguen, its a lovely cosmopolitan city with lots of fun and interesting people...

                                                                                                                                          I think staying in Scandinavia from May to September is a very pleasent experience. Have done it myself many times.

                                                                                                                                          The Winter is also nice, with Skiing and Ice-skating. Oktober-November is not so fun though.
