Go to a shooting range and try out several handguns before you go out and buy an m9. There is only a "best" gun for you. For everyone else its different. If its for home protection get a shotgun.Comment

this is the only pistol I own. A walther p99 9mm pistol. its hopefully the only one I will ever need. I have a 30-30 rifle and a 22 rifle also. I used to have alot more, but I thinned out my collection quite a bit.Comment

Depends relaly on what calibur your looking for, and what size hand you have...
If you have small or skinny hands, there's no sense in getting a 357 and vice versa, if you have large hands, there' sno sense in getting 380Comment

I have a 38 pistol, my husband has a 45 and 3-4 shotguns.... 410, 22, 30/30 and a 20 Gauge (I think that's right). And YES I keep them locked down, I have kids........ I used to hate guns and wouldn't have one in my house........ but I couldn't imagine someone coming up here and me not having ANYTHING to protect my family with.. so I have enough to do that. LOL
Listen to the person that said test out a few though, what is right for one isn't going to be right for another. I have to have a smaller gun because my hands are so small, but my husband needs a bigger one........ it's all in what's right for you.

i own a smith and wesson 9mm, and I am licensed to carry. take her with me everywhere.

camera was on a tripod on a timer. no one else was in the room.
yes there is a round in the chamber.
it was taking in my basement facing a brick wall with the clip removed, safety on, and finger off the trigger.
