Glock 27 - .40 caliber
High power, highly concealable. Grip is a bit short, so as you can see here, I use a 15 round (pre-ban) mag. original mag is next to it.

This gun is small enough to wear inside the pants, yet it'll take down a large individual with one shot. I recommend copper jacketed hollow points.

It's funny, my friend just forwarded an email to me about guns. I have no idea if it's bullshit or not, but I found it interesting:

'''''''''''''

Doctors VS Guns

Doctors:
(A) The number of physicians in the U.S. is 700,000.
(B) Accidental deaths caused by Physicians per year are 120,000.
(C) Accidental deaths per physician is 0.171.

Statistics courtesy of U.S.Dept of Health Human Services and is a conservative number.

Now think about this:

Guns:
(A) The number of gun owners in the U.S. is 80,000,000. Yes, that is 80 million.
(B) The number of accidental gun deaths per year, all age groups, is 1,500.
(C) The number of accidental deaths per gun owner is .000188.

Statistically, doctors are approximately 9,000 times more dangerous than gun owners.

Remember, "Guns don't kill people, doctors do."

What are some of you saying that you have a licence to carry?
Dont fucking tell there are some US states that allow guns to be carried besides home-shooting range-home.
Please explain.

I own a 9mm Baby Desert Eagle. Actually, mine is a Israeli (SP?) Jericho 941 which is the original version in 9mm that came with the extra barrel to convert it to .41 Action Express.

This is the best feeling handgun on the market as far as I'm concerned and I went to gun shows for 4 years before getting mine.

It's also one of the strongest because on most hand-guns the top portion of the gun slides on rails on the frame of the gun that are only about 3 inches in length. The rails on this gun run the entire length.

Supprisingly, it's also used in a lot of movies but I can't remember any right now.

License to carry a firearm in Nevada, plus states with recip. privlidges, also have a Class III license, which allows me to purchase full auto weapons, and silencers ( Legally )

Nevada is a wonderful state for gun owners..

As for why I carry... I have a right too, and I excersize my rights. Plus, it IS Las Vegas after all...:BangBang: :thumbsup

I'm not sure what each state's laws are, but in some you have to have a permit to carry a concealed weapon. In my state, for example, I can't carry my gun around in my purse or have it hidden in my car or on my body, without a permit. The sheriff's dept. issues them here. You pay a fee, they run a check on you, and if everything is hunky dory, they issue you the permit.

And yes, with a permit I can carry it anywhere in my state that doesn't specifically restrict guns (court house, schools, airports, etc.)

Platinumpimp 08-11-2004 07:39 PM

goBigtime 08-11-2004 11:46 PM

All I can say is.... you better not buy your guns based on how flashy or menacing they look, bcause one day you might actually need to use it/them & if it's a POS that jams up on you.... bye bye you.

Unless of course the person you are defending yourself against is utterly frightened by the sheer sight of your weapon, drops his, and runs away. (lol :1orglaugh)

If you have large hands it would be better to get a single stacked .45 such as a Para Ordnance. I would not recommend any 40 S&W (that is a 10mm bullet shortened down. It is the FBI round) It initially has a large kick to it so it takes a little bit longer to get back on target. A 45 absorbs more of its kick in the weight of the frame. It is a much more accurate weapon.

If you lived in LA I could take you shooting and you could try out the different weapons that I have, but I dont think you are here.

Not only that, but most states have reciprocity in issuing CCWs. So, if you get a permit to carry, say in Florida, it could be good in other states as well. I believe you only need to get a CCW in 4 specific states and then you are good in all states that allow for CCW permits

the glorious state of Arizona allows for anyone (non fellon) to 'open' carry...

very nice, I love the .40...my sig229 has a nice feel, a little weighty for such a small piece but it does the job...

have you ever heard of or tried the Krieger Acc-u-rails to tighten up that metal to polymer fit (in due time and wear of course)? I've read & heard some decent things about them...
