current keyboard layouts are designed to slow typing speeds

what happened was in the old days when typists used typewritiers - they arms would get stuck when they typed too fast - so rthe kays were rearranged to slow typing down to prevent keys getting stuck.

this idea looks wayyy better - i wanna get one

Really? I am impressed with how you know stuff about things. Like this and that other thread with the swastika wrench. Your battleship skills are also quite impressive also.

Looks like there would be quite a learning curve to use something like that.. with dubious benefits at best.

i used to do a lot of reading when i was a kid - id read encyclopaedias and the oxford dictionary i was a real nerd
