    how much do you pay for tv channels?

    we don't pay anything, we get such good reception on antennae that I decided no cable or satellite was worth buying no matter how many channels we could get with it.

    We used to have satellite, but I realised that we weren't watching that many channels, so I thought I'd experiment with just using antennae.. I'll never pay for tv again

                  Around ?20 for cable channels, but I *must* see my discovery channel programs.
                  No movie channels though.

                              Life is just not the same without MTV, VH1 and E Television... Without music videos and watching the lifestyles of J-lo and Paris Hilton on E and Vh1 my live would be dreary indeed...

                              Vh1 is getting better... and I don't know if it's getting better or if it's because I'm getting old but I actually like it whereas before I would watch only MTV.. they have kick ass shows like "The Fabulous Life Of...", re-runs of the Surreal Life and other good stuff like Bands Reunited...

                              I also must have my Mtv Room Raiders and Newlyweds... and my daily TRL fix...

                              I also HAVE to watch E to keep up with the latest Hollywood gossip and scandals... I would DIE without cable...

                              I pay $34 for my cable... just basic no Hbo or movie channels.. it comes in a package with my Roadrunner.. alltogether its like
                              around $80 or so...

                              In times of war and crisis I watch CNN occassionally so I can have an idea of what is going on... but i must admit most of the time my proframs are not very intellectually stimulating... just trash tv but that's what I LUUUUUUV !

                                  My TV is combined with my high speed cable internet so I get close to a T1 connection with digital cable (around 200 channels plus 50 music channels plus 30+ movie channels) and a DVR box (just like TIVO) for about $100 a month.

                                      we pay around AU$70 a month for digital satellite
                                      thingking of upgrading for one more entertainment package and 3 more movie channels that would be about AU$90 a month

                                              40 bucks or so Canadian. That includes some movie channels.

                                              I watch maybe 5 hrs of tv a week though.. its more for when my girlfriend or someone else is over.

                                                  I pay $93 a month for DirecTV that includes all their channels, TiVo and extra receiver. Oh, and local channels too.

                                                                  On big dish I can buy channels ala carte and there are tons of free channels. I pay about $100 per year and have access to 1000 or so channels.
